September 16, 2020 (Wednesday) MTNA Competition Registration 3pm Eastern Time


September 20-30, 2020 (Sunday-Wednesday) Sonatina Registration.  Navigate to the "Online Event Registration" in the menu bar to the left.


September 25. 2020 (Friday) at 10:30am at Dunkley Music Recital Hall - Dr. Del Parkinson's presentation "Celebrating Ludwig van Beethoven's 250th Birthday."Due to the virus Dunkley Music can allow only 10 people in the recital hall. Please email svetlanamaddox@boisestate.edu to RSVP. We are going to stream Del's presentation synchronously on zoom. The code will be emailed to all of the teachers the day before the event.

January 11-22, 2021---COA Phase I--To Register/Edit Student


January 29, 2021 On Friday at 10:30am, pianist and composer, Robyn Wells, is going to give a presentation, "Songs and Sew on."  She will play some of her compositions from the "Quilting Circle" books, discuss the process of composing musical pieces, and share information about the NFMC Contest.


February 7, 2021 (Sunday) at 4:00pm, Dunkley Music Recital Hall - "Treasures of the Treasure Valley" 3rd recital

March 6, 2021---COA Student Schedules Available


March 7, 2021---4:00pm Dr. Barton Moreau is going to give a presentation and a Master class on zoom, "Haydn in Plain Sight."    Therefore, if your students are currently working on Haydn sonatas or concertos, please sign them up for the Master class.  Students are welcome to play live on zoom or provide a link to their YouTube video performance.   If you are interested in signing your students for the Master class, please contact Dr. Moreau directly at bartonmoreau@boisestate.edu.

Late April/May 2021 (Date TBD) - Registration Deadline for "Spring Showcase 2021"


August 2021 (Date TBD)  9:00am - 10:00pm - "Spring Showcase" at Albertsons Stadium, Boise State University. Juli Draney is the chair of this spectacular all-day event for students, teachers, and guests.
