Message from the Director

Hello Bach Enthusiasts, This year’s Bach Festival was a smashing success! From invigorating flute renderings, to a fantastically artistic oboe performance, to numerous sparkling piano passages, and even a thundering Bach organ gigue, this year had it all. 

I sincerely thank all our judges: Mark Neiwirth, Abriana Church, Wendy Bachman, Dr. Shih-Ping Wang, Irina Albig, Jennifer Rhees, Karlin Coolidge, and Dr. Nicole Molumby. Each of you brought tremendous expertise to the table. You offered such valuable insights for our performers to take home. 

The Bach Committee has been amazing, as always. Melanie Keller, Amy Audas, Luann Fife, Irina Albig, and Anna Bendorf, thank you.

Students from College of Idaho, College of Southern Idaho, and Boise State University performed—many in our Baroque Fans concert—showing an extraordinary level of poise and artistry.

The staff at Immanuel Lutheran and First Presbyterian Church were absolutely fantastic, making the event very easy to coordinate. 

Finally, we thank all the teachers who prepared students so well.
